Tree tales and teddy bear trails
Today, the P1 class visited the Palace Stables and they really enjoyed learning the names of different trees, identifying the trees and they also carried out tree rubbings.
They also learned lots of interesting facts about a range of woodland animals including squirrels, badgers and foxes.
They learned that we all have an important role to play in protecting our environment and how cutting down trees has a negative impact on our wildlife.
The children were treated to some dramatic storytelling by Alan.
We finished the day with a visit to the play park.
