Our Student Teacher, Miss Alison Mackin gave out our 'Pupil of The Month Awards' for April. Miss Mackin, studying at Liverpool Hope University, was then given a special presentation by the pupils to mark the successful completion of her 'Teaching Practice'.
Miss Mackin had just completed two 6 week teaching blocks in Foley Primary School and it was great news to hear from her tutor that she had been awarded a Grade 1 'Excellent' achievement award for her work in the school. All the pupils wished her well as she heads off to America for the summer!
Miss Mackin was presented with a framed photograph of the Primary 5 - Primary 7 class and a School Hoodie as a momento of her time spent in the school and teaching in Mr. Kelly's class.
