The children of Primary 6 & 7 had the fantastic opportunity yesterday to partake in a STEM workshop which had been rescheduled due to lockdown. We welcomed David from the Sentinus company into our classroom to help develop our understanding of bridges and structures and we became engineers for the day!
The children worked exceptionally well together and shared roles to used rolled up pieces of paper to create a structurally sound bridge. Their team work was excellent and they created some amazing designs which we when tested between chairs to see how much they could hold.
