Primary 5 had a fantastic day at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast. The children were fascinated to learn all about the Titanic; it’s beginnings in ‘Boomtown Belfast’, the building of the ship, it’s launch, sinking and the aftermath of the disaster. We had a very interactive experience; taking a car ride through the conditions for the shipyard workers, viewing replica artefacts from the ship and passenger quarters and viewing the wreckage on film and right under our feet! Some boys and girls also enjoyed getting into character as 1st class passengers on deck. check it out! ðŸ˜ðŸš¢
