Ahead of their virtual Tour of Croke Park, Primary 4/5 have been carrying out some research about how the GAA was formed. We are learning about some of the influential figures such as Michael Cusack, Maurice Davin and Michael Davitt, and their contributions to Gaelic Games.
The boys and girls imagined they were back in 1884, among the seven men in Thurles. They acted as founders of their own GAA club and created a club crest based on local buildings, sites and inspirational people.
