As part of our Nocturnal Animals topic, we had the pleasure of welcoming Andrea and her rescue hedgehog Jill to our classroom today.
Andrea was very informative. She told us how to protect and look after hedgehogs, along with lots of cool new facts.
She made us aware that we need to look out for hedgehogs in our garden at this time of year as not all hedgehogs hibernate at this time. We can keep a small dish of water and some tinned cat/dog food out for them to keep their bellies full.
