Over the last two months Primary 5-7 pupils have been visiting St. Patrick's High School Keady as part of a Shared Learning Project. This term one of the activites the pupils were involved in was a 'Practical Mental Maths Activity' using the IZAK9 Maths Cubes package.
The pupils were involved in a number of practical 'Real Life' maths problem solving exercises. They worked collaboratively in groups to solve the problems and were actively engaged in developing their Talking and Listening, Thinking and Mental Maths skills.
This programme continues a 3 year link which has developed with St. Patrick's as part of the 'Shared Learning Community' Collaborative Learning Programme.
