On Tuesday the P.4-P.7 children travelled into the Shambles Market in Armagh to attend a food and recycling workshop. First of all the children made healthy smoothies with a local chef. They viewed a wormery, learned about how worms make compost and fertilizer and even handled some tiger worms. The groups then sequenced compostable items and then made paper pots and planted seeds to grow. A very informative and interesting workshop, thanks to all involved.
