Foley's annual Speech and Drama morning took place on Wednesday 15th March. Class groups performed selected poems by Irish poets or with Irish themes in honour of St. Patrick's Day. Individuals performed their poems in preparation for Armagh Festival of Speech and Drama in April. Guest judge Deirdre Kennedy returned to hear and comment on the performances, she was very impressed! Well done to all the children who had prepared so well, a special mention to the P.1 & 2 who performed in Irish. Each group and solo poem were fantastic and the event was very enjoyable.
