And just like that, it arrived! A beautiful butterfly born today. After several weeks of all in P.2 watching and waiting this lovely creature emerged from its chrysalis overnight. Hopefully it may gain a brother or sister in the next day or two. Watch this space!
Monday update - another butterfly was born overnight! Wednesday update - and now there are three in total!
6th June - Today the three butterflies were released into the flowers growing in the outdoor learning area. Now they can fly free and lay eggs, making more caterpillars and butterflies and the cycle continues.
