'Linking Generations Locally Project' - Primary 7 Dunlarg Home Visit
Reports From Primary 7 Pupils on 'Linking Generations Locally Project':
We visited Dunlarg Nursing Home for older people. My day in Dunlarg was fun. We played board games with the older people and it was great. At around eleven they gave us sweets like squashies and lollipops. At half eleven we went to Mrs Rafferty and sang hymns to her. I enjoyed my time at Dunlarg. (Ryan - Primary 7).
When I went to Dunlarg Nursing Home I played bingo with five women. After we played they came around with arts and crafts and sweets. I had a great time with the arts and crafts. We then went down the hall to see Mrs Rafferty who lives beside the school. We sang some hymns to her. I had an amazing time at Dunlarg Nursing Home. (Roise - Primary 7).
My day at Dunlarg nursing home was great. Me and some of the others went. We played games like scrabble and cluedo with the elderly, we then went to see Mrs Rafferty we sang hymns and different songs to her . I loved my time in Dunlarg nursing home and it was a great experience to see how they lived. I loved Dunlarg and go I'll back again. (Shea - Primary 7).
