The Eco-Council gathered today to make some bird balls for the wild birds during this cold spell. They mixed lard with bird seed which helped to make a paste which they then pushed into the pinecones. They then used string to attach the bird balls to the trees. With the frosty weather set to continue, we are sure to see some very grateful wild birds.
